Ozone Flow V2
The Flow V2 is our "do-it-all" freeride magic weapon, designed to instantly boost your confidence and capabilities. From your very first day on a foil to advanced wave riding and high-powered freestyle, this wing delivers total freedom across every discipline.
While retaining the proven planform of the V1, every other element has been redesigned, including the introduction of a new boom system, and with each wing delivering a better low and top end range.
The result is a lighter, more responsive, and more "connected" experience. The instant feel of stability and sense of control of the original has evolved into a masterpiece of truly accessible performance.
New Ozone Boom System:
The most significant evolution is the move to a rigid, high-grade carbon boom.
Zero-Movement Connection: A rock-solid, stitched-in base plate replaces the slot handle system, eliminating span-wise and chord-wise movement for instant feedback. When you move the boom, the wing reacts instantly
Ergonomic Grip: A new textured EVA grip provides maximum traction
Integrated Protection: A moulded EVA bumper is built into the boom to protect your board as well as allowing for a natural and safe "pistol grip" position
Streamlined Strut: The boom's structural integrity allowed us to strip away extra handle reinforcements, resulting in a lighter, more aerodynamic strut
TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS
- New Ozone Boom System: The Flow V2 features a new carbon boom with injection-moulded components engineered for zero play, delivering a rigid, highly responsive connection to the wing for precise control under load
- Unbeatable Stability: The re-tuned sail tension (tight front/soft trailing edge) and positive lift profile make it the easiest wing in the range for tacks, gybes and flagging out on waves
- Hybrid Material Durability: Using a mix of Teijin 5x5 and 3x3 ripstop ensures the wing maintains its performance shape for longer, ensuring maximum enjoyment, session after session
- Performance Profile: Redesigned for better low-end (easier pumping) and more "top-end" comfort (less arm fatigue in gusts)
- Size-Specific Tip Tuning:
Small (<3.6m): Thinner tips to "breathe" and dump excess pressure in high winds
Large (>4.3m): Thicker tips to stabilize the canopy and sharpen the handling in flight
- Anti-Flap Technology: Features 4-6 reinforced batten pockets (size dependent) and a stiffer leading edge handle for quiet, controlled drifting.
HYBRID CANOPY CONSTRUCTION
The Flow V2 uses a strategic mix of premium Teijin ripstop to ensure the wing holds its factory-fresh shape for longer.
Teijin 5x5 Ripstop: Used for the majority of the canopy to provide incredible strength and minimize diagonal stretch
Teijin 3x3 Ripstop: Placed specifically on the front panels to fine-tune flex and load distribution where the wing experiences the most pressure
Long-Term Performance: This combination ensures the sail remains tight and the profile stays true to the design, even after heavy use
SHARED DNA WITH THE FLUX V2
We've integrated high-performance features from our fast flying Flux V2 to enhance durability and safety:
Anti-Flap Batten Pockets: New reinforced pockets (6 on larger sizes, 4 on smaller) significantly reduce trailing edge flutter
Upgraded Leading Edge Handle: A stiffer, more ergonomic leading edge handle provides total control when the wing is flagged out on a wave
Improved Visibility: Repositioned windows offer a wider field of view for better spatial awareness
SIZE-SPECIFIC LEADING EDGE & PROFILE
The range is meticulously tuned to ensure a consistent feel across all sizes.
Adaptive Tips: Sizes 3.6m and below feature thinner tips to let the wing "breathe" in high winds. Sizes 4.3m and above utilise thicker tips to stabilise the leading edge and increase stability.
Positive Lift: The redeveloped profile generates more upward lift when overhead, preventing "front stalling" during tacks and gybes. The Flow V2 is one of the easiest wings you can imagine when moving it overhead
Broad Range: Improved bottom-end drive makes pumping easier in light air, while the refined leading edge geometry maintains comfort when the wind picks up.
